The Disability Program Navigator helps people with disabilities " NAVIGATE " the challenges of seeking work.

The Program serves a resource for the following:

  • Facilitate seamless and comprehensive services for individuals with disabilities within the   WorkSource Centers
  • Facilitate universal access to the WorkSource System for individuals with disabilities
  • Promote the purpose of reasonable accommodation policy and equal opportunity
  • Serve as a resource to the WorkSource Center staff, business and disability communities
  • Ease the transition of in-and-out of school youth with disabilities into employment
  • Provide training and consultation on disability related topics and programs
  • Increase customer satisfaction of individuals with disabilities within the One-Stop Career Centers
  • Enhance the economic empowerment of individuals with disabilities

The Navigator serves a resource and trainer to the WorkSource System (One-Stop Centers) and Community based organizations, agencies, and programs providing information of Federal, State, local, and private programs that impact the ability of individuals with disabilities gain, return to, or retain employment.
